UOMO MODA is finally here! This is the first time Maria Campo has designed men’s wear for a store and it has turned out to be a great experience. The UOMO MODA label has found its first group of fans, so don’t forget to visit the page and see what’s new!
On The Rack… This is the first time I have items for sale on my website. The number of pieces and sizes is limited, so if you see something you want, don’t hesitate to purchase it because when it is gone, is gone!
I have and still work with various artists and with each and every one of them I have had great work experiences and learned about other forms of passion; music being one of them. I enjoy creating for performers because my art is in a way incorporated with theirs and I feel that even though my singing should be limited to the shower, I soar higher when I listen to their music and songs and watch them perform.
My latest accomplishment has been working with Billy McLaughlin on wardrobe for his Concert at the Maplewood Performing Arts Theater. Billy is a wonderful guitarist and singer known not only in the USA but in Europe as well. He has just written and recorded some new songs which will be part of his new CD; REWIRED. A documentary about him with the same title will come out soon on public television, so keep your eyes open for it. If you do not know of Billy's music, you are missing big time; go check his website www.billymclaughlin.com , and you'll understand what I mean!
My Sabbatical from events such as the DIVA show continues; too many good things happening, not enough time, but don’t worry though, we'll be back on the runway with some new fashion and when we do, you’ll get to see them. As you probably noticed, we changed a few things when we renovated this web site. For example we now offer the: Articles & Press Coverage gallery where you can check the various magazines where Maria Campo's work has been shown and it has been updated as did the BRIDAL page.
We finally have a CREDIT PAGE, so go and check it out.
We’d like you to know that we have a few special items for sale; some are from previous fashion shows, some are samples. These items are sold “as is” and sizes vary, but they are usually one of a kind and made of materials not easily found on the market. If you are interested to know what they are, please write to us HERE and someone will let you know what they are.
